According to her, she met her husband while working in Nairobi one year after completing her secondary education. After dating for a few months she fell pregnant with him.She moved into his house but her husband started being violent and at a times she could stay without eating. When she was pregnant with her secondborn, her husband returned home one afternoon carrying a mattress.

When she asked her whose it was since they didn’t need a mattress he told her that she would know before the day ends. He switched on the television and asked her to sit on the mattress in their living room.

He forced her to watch pornography and asked her to lie on the mattress and do how the characters in the videos were doing. It was hard for her since she was pregnant. He could beat her up which made them lose her child.
